Custom Inventory

With this plug-in it is possible to create custom inventories.

Configuration - Plugin-integration

  • Assembly: CustomInventoryPlugin
  • Name: CUSTOM_INVENTORY (is translated)
  • Icon: data_scroll.png
  • SelectedComputer: Single

Configuration - Global

  • TableName: Defines the name of the SQL table that is to be created for the user-defined inventory. Attention. The setting should not be changed after the first record has been created. Otherwise a new table will be created with the new name. The old records will not be transferred.
  • InventoryQuery: Determines the view for the SCCM Inventory tab.

The inventory fields are created via the included Dynamic GUI Editor. The database is automatically adjusted according to the configuration. Please note: Fields that have already been created can no longer be deleted via configuration. These should therefore be set to invisible in the editor.

Creating the first inventory record also automatically creates the inventory table in the database.
