Script Search Patterns

For scripted installations, the SCCM Application Manager can read the values for the manufacturer, product, version and language from the respective scripts. To do this, it is necessary to define regular expressions.

First, select an existing definition, or create a new one for a file type using the context menu:

Afterwards a regular expression must be defined and saved for each property.

It is important that the regular expression returns a group with a specific name. This name is specified in Help.

To avoid errors, regular expressions can be tested in advance here . If you define a regular expression correctly, the result will look like the manufacturer's example:
