Within the categories Intel Management Engine (ME) and Trusted Platform Module (TPM), there are new status values that indicate whether data could be obtained.

New category BIOS Properties (custom) to determine whether the BIOS version of the current computer matches the expected version. The evaluation is carried out using a lookup table. This lookup table can also be used to determine whether the computer model is supported or not.

The manufacturer's ID within the inventory class monitor was not always correctly recognized, which could also lead to the misinterpretation of the monitor manufacturer.


Version 4.4.0.0 (2018-08-01)

The file SysInfoSettings.dat of the previous versions is incompatible with the version 4.4.0.0. Please delete it if necessary. When you start the application, the file is re-created and can be customized later.

Due to name changes as part of Windows as a service, new Product Key Channel names are shown:

New inventory class Local Group Memberships. It determines all group memberships that have been defined in the List of Local Groups.

Settings → General → Package Source Folder. A new option to define where to copy the files needed for packaging within a systems management environment.

Settings → General → Well-known Security Identifiers. A new lookup table that contains the SIDs and their official identifiers. This list is used in the Local Group Memberships inventory class.

Settings → Monitor → Monitor Manufacturer PNP IDs. Contains the new lookup table to get the monitor manufacturers by their PnPID. The old list, using the pattern PnP = manufacturer, no longer exists. The original length limit is removed.

Settings → Software ID Tags → List of Scan Paths. New list to define the scan paths. The old list and its limitations no longer exist.

Settings → System → Enable Main User Discovery. Defines whether to determine the main user or not.

Settings → Software ID Tags → Logon Event Exclusions. New list for the definition of logon event exclusions. The old list and its limitations no longer exist.

New Button Create Package Source. This copies all files which are needed to a share to create a package within a systems management environment. This feature is only active on a valid license.

The button User Logon Events has been renamed to Main User Discovery. This also hides the new functionality of switching on or off the determination of the main user.

New button Maginifier to enlarge a screen section.


Version 4.3.0.1 (2018-04-13)

The BIOS passwords were not saved correctly. Please delete and re-create the existing settings.dat file of the 4.3.0.0 version in the installation directory.

When hiding inventory classes, the first class was not updated.

The inventory class Operating System has been renamed to System . Likewise, the standard WMI class of OSInfo changes to System Info. Since the class names have also been renamed internally, the settings (Settings.dat) are incompatible with the previous version and must be re-created.

The Inventory Class System contains the new category BIOS properties with corresponding values.

The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) category contains both the firmware version and the specification version of the TPM.
