Application scenarios

The main application scenarios include the transfer of SCCM objects between SCCM sites. This also includes the addition and expansion of existing automation solutions.

Applications

The following diagram shows a process chain with several SCCM sites and the possible integration of the SCCM Teleporter.

The steps shown as teleport can be done either in a few steps using the graphical user interface, or fully automated (e.g. controlled by PowerShell scripts).

Automation within existing processes

A further application scenarios is the supplementation of existing automation processes.

Provision of SCCM objects within separated domain and network infrastructures

With the SCCM Teleporter it is possible to export SCCM objects to the file system and save them in the SCCM Teleporter tp1 file format.

The objects exported to the file system can not only be used for backup and restore scenarios, but can also be used for distribution and provisioning within SCCM infrastructures that are not accessible due to physically separated networks.
