For Microsoft Config Manager Current Branch environments. SCCM Application Manager runs as a client application.
Does SCCM Application Manager need to be installed on the site server?
No. The product is a client application and can be installed on an administrator workstation.
Installation and Operation
Can SCCM Application Manager be installed on multiple administrator workstations?
Yes. However, each installation requires a valid license file.

No. The product operates entirely without an Internet connection.
Does SCCM Application Manager support multiple Config Manager site codes?
Yes. Provided the license has been issued accordingly, multiple site codes can be processed.

Permissions
What permissions are required?
This depends on the functions being used. Generally, the appropriate Config Manager RBAC permissions are required.
License
What happens if the license metrics do not match the environment?
A corresponding notification dialog appears when the product is launched.

What happens if the license expires?
The product can no longer be used. Once the license file is replaced with a valid license, the product is immediately ready for use again.
